Yoga Teacher Mentoring Programme

Welcome to Surya Bee’s yoga teacher mentoring programme, set in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage City of Luang Prabang.

I designed this mentoring programme to bridge the gap between qualifying as a yoga teacher and teaching with confidence. Based at Grasshopper Yoga Studio, in the heart of the ancient city, this one-month mentoring programme actively supports new yoga teachers in developing confidence, refining teaching skills, and deepening their understanding of yoga. As a result, you’ll gain practical experience while feeling guided and supported throughout your journey.

Programme Overview

This is a hands-on, experience-based programme designed to support you as you grow into your role as a yoga teacher—with guidance, feedback, and encouragement from me throughout.

You’ll attend classes within my regular teaching schedule to deepen your understanding, observe the structure and flow of classes from a new perspective, and continue developing as both a student and a teacher. Then, as you begin to teach, I’ll observe closely and offer personalised feedback to help you progress. Over time, you’ll notice your confidence and clarity in teaching growing steadily.

Each week follows a clear rhythm, including:

  • Group workshops
  • One-to-one sessions
  • Time for reflection and self-enquiry

You’ll be encouraged to explore your teaching voice, gain confidence, and develop a more grounded understanding of what it means to teach with clarity and authenticity.

This programme is here to help you move from learning to living your teaching—in a real studio setting, with real support, and guidance every step of the way.
